Afternoon all, the weather is a bit changeable here - nice sun then some fog drifts in from the sea, then the sun breaks through again. We went for a lovely walk and have just had lunch. I still have my sinus infection and can't quite decide whether or not to go to the doctor tomorrow - normally I wouldn't bother, would just let it run its course but I've no way of knowing if it will be cleared up by Monday. On the plus side, I didn't get another headache and I've been doing steam inhalation several times a day plus drinking loads of water, so I'll see how it is tomorrow.

Saundra, I need to wrestle with the duvet cover this afternoon as well, hate doing it! Need to get some washing on, I'm busy building up to the weekend away and then my five days in hospital. Otherwise no great plans for the rest of the day, might do some reading or knitting and maybe watch that programme about Tommy Cooper tonight. Enjoy your Easter Monday everyone!

Good afternoon all, it's a beautiful day here - bright and quite warm :D

This morning I've walked Billy while John went for a bike ride with Ben, one of our neighbours. Bless him, he's only 16 and when John got back from his ride yesterday he must've seen him come back and came straight over to ask if he could go with him sometime so John suggested this morning. I thought Tom might've wanted to go with them but he sat around in his dressing gown all morning, eating chocolate. Joe slept over at his friend's house last night as they're going to Alton Towers today. I'm just hoping he's got enough money. He said he just needed £30 to get in but when I looked online it's £48 as they're classed as adults once they're 12. £48!!! Anyway, I called his friend's mom and she said they'd worked it all out and it was coming to £30 each and they're taking a picnic and drinks. I think they must have some vouchers or whatever so are splitting the full cost between how many of them there are - I think about 12 people are going, his friend is one of 5 and it's his sister's birthday day out.

Just off to take Billy for another walk while it's nice, I think rain is forecast for later.

Have a good day all!

 Jo what a ridiculous price! How do families manage it? :? We did have yearly passes one year for Thorpe Park for Becks and Harry, when we lived very close to it, plus one adult got in free as H's 'carer' because he was on DLA (we also got to skip the queues) so it wasn't too bad.....But that is a shocker!!!

Osc if you are still not 100% tomorrow I think I'd see the doc, you want to be fit for your op next week (((((x)))))

Saundra I seem to have the knack with duvets now, but they can be awfully tricky  xxxx
