Did you know....

.... home made popcorn is very addictive.

And if you shock it with blueberry juice and a coating of icing sugar it is super addictive.

Oh yes, you can get through bowls and bowls of the stuff :D
I only ever do it with at the most a little bit of melted butter & salt though ;) :)

Ahhh, buttered popcorn........ :D

I have only recently rediscovered the delights after spotting a big bag for pennies in the Chinese supermarket. It was right next to the boxes of prawn crackers - those four little rows of translucent pink discs just waiting to be thrown into a pan of hot oil. They are norty and a different story.

For my next batch of popcorn I am going to attempt a caramel crackle glaze. ;) :D

We've got a popcorn maker, bought it years ago from Lakeland and it gets a fair bit of use!

Friends of mine had one and I tried the popcorn they made and really didn't like it... :(   Because it's hot air popped no flavour seems to stick on them so (to me) it was just very bland; unless they did something wrong?

nothing to beat good old fashioned popped in a pot with a bit of oil popcorn :D

Frank, when you say you shock it with the blackberry juice, what do you do? Just curious because I do prefer salty popcorn to sweet

We have a popcorn maker and I do love the popcorn, but usually just sprinkle it with salt, as you say anything else doesn't 'cling' very well.
For flavours yes you need the saucepan job :D
