Oooh nice car Di, and great news about the insurance!!! :D

Well I've had a nice day so far - walked down into town, via D's to water the garden and greenhouse again, and got my nails done for the holiday! Did I mention we are going away????? :P ;) I've been putting it off for a couple of weeks now, wanting to get the gardening/painting out of the way first, but now I have a brand new set, painted glossy see thru pale pink, with a tiny pink and silver flower painted just on each little finger 8-) :D Might pop a pic on the Boutique board in a minute ;)

I had a cuppa and a teacake in town, and did the crossword......really feeling nice and chilled now 8-) Whether I still feel that way in a few hours time remains to be seen, as like you Jo I have the big Sainsbury's shop to do this evening - far too much for me to carry so Mick is running me up there after work! I must remember to drop his linen jacket in the dry cleaners up there, as he needs it clean for the holiday ;)

Think I'm getting a tad excited....................

hi folks,

finally checking in after another busy day....

Di, that car looks lovely, always a good idea to check insurance, I do the same every year, it annoys me as its quite time consuming but worth it, I get business use on my policy and doesn't cost anymore, went with the AA this year and got free roadside recovery should I need it :D

Had my hair cut this morning in my friends lovely little retro/vintage salon, its so cute! My hair is lovely (pic on other board) , she cut it into a nice style and a lovely length which should be fine for a month or two then I can get it trimmed and decide whether to go a teeny bit shorter, but at the moment, I am very happy!

We then went for lunch at McDonald's, I had veggie wrap which was ok. Went to a few of the discount/cheap shops and got some bits and bobs, and then went to visit my sister for a bit.

Tomorrow we are off to the cinema first thing, kidsAM where they show slightly older films cheaper (or films before they are taken away from cinema), so going to see the Mr Peabody and Sherman (or whatever its called) in 3D, starts at 10am, and meeting Amy's friend who she met at swimming lessons, so that will be nice, her mum is lovely so we can have a catch up :) she booked the tickets yesterday, so £3 each for 3D film instead of about £11 each!

Hope everyone is ok and had a good day
