I think that is a lovely present Ally, my dad used to like chocolate gingers or turkish delight.
My mum always used to buy Mr Shell a box of chocolate brazils and the year after she died he said 'no chocolate brazils" so now he gets a box every year with a label that just says with love

I love that! Liberated!
Must use that expression when the chocolates are being passed around in this house.
I knew a girl who sounds just like your cousin, Ally... she was always cutting people down. She had one friend and the last time I spoke to this woman, she said in a very shocked voice that she'd been put down by the nasty one. I had to fill her in that she was the only friend this person had - that the nasty one had driven away everyone during the course of her life. It's who she was. I don't know why people do it, but they're out there. They're not worth the time or effort because nothing will change them.
My mum used to love certain kinds of chocolates and her eyes would light up whenever she received them as a gift. And now I never see them but think of her. ..... So go for it.
