thanks folks for all the tips

I am really looking forward to it now My hair is very thick and even when 'thinned' out, it still needs straighteners through it to be able to wear it down, its very wavy/frizzy/not nice if I leave it to dry itself, so am looking forward to having it in a style, which is shorter so more manageable and for work can go behind my ear or put a small clip in to keep it back off my face

Poll mine was always like that, very fine hair but masses and masses of it.
It should be fine to just wash and leave if that's what you want, then blow-dry for something different
I'm looking forward to it too
