Poll you do seem to have some fantastic 'day out' stuff on your doorstep, so lovely for Amy that you get to do all these things 8-) :D

Osc I'm glad you enjoyed your weekend, it's a great drying day here too but like a nitwit I didn't click the washer door shut properly earlier so mine has only just got going! :? I hope you are ok, about the ballroom forum stuff ((((((x))))))

I've finished oiling the furniture now, it does bring it up nicely 8-) Mick and I are going to do the decking together this evening - it will be quicker with two :) We want everything done and dry by Friday when my sister and family come to visit 8-) ;)

Saundra take it easy and enjoy the sunshine ((((((((((((x)))))))))))))))

Off out now to get my plants, and also water the greenhouse at D's..... :)

Ah yes, it's fine thanks Kaz. We are going to have so much going on for possibly the rest of the year that we decided we couldn't give it the time it needs. There would be a slight issue related to discord in the dancing world here, but that was not any influence on our decision.

Good afternoon all, it's an absolutely gorgeous day here - the sun is shining and it's warm npw that the cold wind we've had over the last couple of days has dropped. I had the loveliest walk with Billy after I'd got home from the gym, and I noticed that the Bilberry bushes (and there are many over the common) are absolutely loaded with berries so I can't wait until they ripen :)

Tom was supposed to be having some friends around this afternoon for revising but they're coming on Thursday now instead. John's thinking of taking either one or both of the boys down to MIL's for an overnight stay on Thursday, driving down after work and coming back on Friday evening. I'm getting the gist from his phone conversations that she's nagging him about going down to see her so I think she's worn him down. Shame really because I was looking forward to him being home on Good Friday, he's been working long days this year.

Hope that Loz is having a good day in London!

Good luck with the car hunt Di!

Kaz, John wants to fit some decking in the back garden but I'm resisting. I can't see it looking right in this small garden plus he'll only moan in a couple of years when it needs painting  I quite fancy extending the patio but he doesn't seem keen so we've reached deadlock

Now I like decking Jo, but then I think our garden is a little bigger and squarer than yours maybe so can see your point :? I like the fact that it's raised, it adds some interest somehow :) Hope you can come to an agreement ;)

Saundra my tulips were lovely but went 'over' a few weeks back - we are a lot further south than you though ;) xx

I had a lovely walk into town in the sunshine, via D's again to do more watering, picked up that Rosemary plant I wanted, got Mick a couple of nice tee shirts in the Blue X Sale in Debenhams, looked at hats for me, for the holiday but decided they were too expensive, nipped to Iceland for some milk and cheese and got the bus home as the plant was in a heavy pot. Oh and I got some holiday mini toiletries for a pound each (tooth paste, mouthwash, deodorant, shampoo) and three Colgate toothbrushes for a pound in Wilkos as well 8-)

12 days and counting!!!!! 8-) :D :D :D :D
