I don't cry often at all, but it can catch me unawares :D
There are a few films that will always do it - the end of The Incredible Journey for one  But just 'wet eyes' usually, not a full-scale blub.
Otherwise it would be people being really, genuinely nice/sympathetic, especially if it's unexpected.

Oh actually I would say it's a bit like that for me too. I did well up at the end of Goodbye Mr Chips recently, and kindness can do it too.....but like you Di not a proper cry, just a welling up xxxxx

It has struck me that we are all very similar about this subject, but whether we are typical of people in general I'm not sure.

I have a feeling, though, that our similarity might be the reason why we Vocal Voices members get on so well together.

Could it be?

You could be right Aggers. I feel we all get on well here and I don't think there have ever been any mean or nasty moments. Of course we may disagree at times, but that is human and then we just learn to respect the others point of view.

Reading about people who have lost their much loved pets gets me emotional.
