Good Morning Wednesday!

Postby Diflower » 02 Apr 2014, 07:21

Morning :)
Dull out there today, forecast is for cloud, rain and maybe a few bits of sun.

The big news of the day is Bb's going back to work :D He's thrilled with his eye, can definitely see much better than before the op, has tried driving and all is fine :)
He will need new glasses but not till after his follow-up appt, which is in 3 weeks, and his old ones are ok for now.
I must say I shall be glad to have him out of the house again :D

Hope everyone's ok and not too affected by the high pollution around today.
Di

Morning Di and everyone :D
What wonderful news! I'm so pleased :D x
Dull here too, but I'm off to meet a friend for coffee in Romsey today.
They have a very nice fabric shop in Romsey too...
Wishing everyone a lovely day and hope the sun finds you x

Oh Di that is brilliant!!! I am sooo pleased - for you both ;) I never get M out of the house as he works from home - so I go out a lot!! :P ;)

Window cleaning this morning, but I'm wondering if I should wait until this pollution dust cloud thingy has completely gone :? Take care today everyone, they are saying people should avoid excessive exercise outdoors, especially those with chest or heart complaints! So stay safe all...... :?

Have a good one :) xxxxxx

Morning everyone

Sun out the back, clouds and sun out the front :D more wet stuff forecast, but not as bad as yeaterday and last night

That is good news Di :D :D

Soup making for me this morning and dentist this afternoon. I'm going to Moncarapacho, instead of the one in our village. She's ok, but all the fillings and stuff she's done just keep falling out   and as it's 50 euros a visit

Hope you all have a good day, not heard about the pollution, will have to go and have a look. Stay inside if it's that bad xx

Morning all

That is such fab news Di - really pleased for both of you. When does he go back?
Kaz - definitely wait with the window cleaning; not only do we have that dust cloud looming upon us, but where I am they're prediting rain for the weekend - no point washing windows when it's going to rain, is there?

Loz have a good time with your friend and don't spend too much money in the fabric shop
Ton - it's not pollution as such; apparently there is a large dust / sand cloud blowing over from the Sahara (if I heard it right); although I'd have thought that given you're sort of between us and the Saraha you would have been affected as well? hmm I think the weather people are making it all up ;)

Usual work day for me today and then heading over to a friend for dinner this evening - she's cooking Pad Thai - yum! I need to pop to the shops at lunch time to buy something for desert which is always a bit of a problem as I much prefer things like cheese and my friend has a very (and I mean VERY) sweet tooth :D

Mmmm enjoy your meal Ria :) :) 8-) The brownie pud we had from the M&S meal deal was very sweet, that might impress your friend ;)

I will definitely wait to do the windows, for the dust to go over, but if I didn't clean them because rain was forecast I would never clean them - this is Gloucester, it has either just rained, is raining or is about to rain :P

The wind we had over the last couple of days - and the rain - probably meant we didn't get it, for a change  We normally have dirty rain, but this was torrential :D , so washed all the walls clean of bird poo and everywhere is now all clean looking and smelling lovely :D

The daisies in the fields opposite seem to have grown a foot overnight

Morning all - just back from my dog walk. It's quite breezy on the beach this morning - blew some cobwebs away.

Not sure what were doing today. The plan was for the four of us to hire a boat on the Broads but it's really misty so we are waiting to see if it clears before we decide.

Morning all :D

Great news about Bb's eye Di, I'm so pleased the op's been a success :D

We really enjoyed the film yesterday, lots of action and adventure 8-)

What a lazy pair we are, we've only just surfaced   E's about to go round for the papers so we'll have a leisurely brekkie before deciding what to do with the rest of the day. Probably more work in the study, it's almost done now, just a bit of filing left and decisions about what to do with the stuff still piled on the floor in one corner.

Hope you all have a good day :D
