Simple top to sew

I made this top the other day. It's very simple to make and I thought Di might like it if feeling in a sewing project mode

In fact my Mom made me one in this style but in vertical stripes when I was in my teens and I'm pretty sure it's still in a drawer upstairs.

I'd have to adapt the idea of the pleat with another pattern (or make one), I can't do sleeveless like that. But it's simple enough to make your own, isn't it, so I could just look at how you do the pleaty bit

I wonder about the sleeveless thing. I am going to make another one with little sleeves. It should be quite easy to adapt.

I love sleeveless tops and this looks lovely.

My own personal opinion is I don't like the colour - but of course that is easily sorted.

I also love the model's necklace.
