Jo it's the original op that caused the cataract to grow. We were warned it would but didn't realise it would be so fast.

The surgeon said it had gone really smoothly and was obviously pleased (he didn't go and speak to the ones who had had what we assume were more routing cataract ops). He has a check-up in 4 weeks for this one, but the check-up he had back in November, the little Chinese guy who'd done the repair was really pleased with it.
The telling thing with this was that the surgeon changed the op, sent Bb for re-measuring, because he could have made the eyesight pretty well perfect. He decided it would be better 'moderately short-sighted' so it was a better match with the other eye. We were originally told they'd do whatever they could, so I think this was much better than they'd expected :D

Only 24 hours after, he could see much better than before the op - we'll wait a few days but he thinks he's better off removing that lens from his glasses for now :D
It's absolutely amazing what they can do isn't it :)
