Couldn't Ton. D would never ever leave her house - too many memories of M's dad - and my ex wouldn't let me take Harry, and TBH he wouldn't want to leave his dad
By the time I get to retirement age they will have extended it to 70 I reckon
My brother and his wife are having a ball in their retirement, they're always flying off somewhere, as well as spending winter in Australia. I had in my mind that's what all retirement is like.....
Yes it would have been great if I'd got my pension at 60 (only another 5 years!) as then M could have taken early retirement on a reduced pension with me making up some of the shortfall......no chance now as I won't get mine until 66
