Is that a self catering cottage Gal? To be fair ours was lovely, it really was, it was just a shame about the smell.

I have just looked at Puddleduck Cottage. We drove up Hotspur Street to park the car in our parking space.

Where did you eat whilst you were there? We liked the Italian restaurant La Terrino I think it was called

We were only there two nights Shell...we had takeaway one night as we'd done lots of walking and were tired and then we ate at the Italians on the corner as you turn right at the bottom of Hotspur Street, zI forget its name but it was lovely.

We would live in Alnmouth if we could....

It sounds like you had a lovely relaxing time Shell.

I love the area. We did the gardens in the summer and spent nearly all day there - they were fabulous.

We stayed at Seahouses. It's not pleasant is it. We stayed in a friends apartment right on the beach - the apartment and beach were brilliant. The area left a lot to be desired!

My phone will be very firmly off when we go to Norfolk though yesterday I found out that the house does have wifi.

Seahouses appealed as it had a sign for the harbour, and you know how I loves a harbour   Sadly though, both harbours we visited were very industrial and accessed through housing estates. :? :?
