Afternoon all, it was lovely and sunny earlier although chilly, but is clouding over and the forecast is for rain. Not in the mood to do much work, so I might try putting a few bits on ebay (I have never yet sold anything  ). I'm waiting for two phone calls, one from the estate agent, and the other from the designer - the tenders for our build were due yesterday and she said she would be in touch this afternoon, have no idea what the figures might be but it's all a bit stressful around here today waiting for the phone to ring :? Have a good day everyone :)

Good afternoon all, it's quite bright here but very windy and quite a bit cooler. Apparently the gritters will be out tonight

I've taken Billy for his walk and saw a man walking along with a dog, a Staffie, so put him on his lead and the man did the same. As we passed both dogs stopped to have a sniff and the Staffie went for Billy. He seemed to get his ear and thankfully I can't see any bite marks but he did pull some fur out, when I was checking Bill over there was a clump of his white fur by his ear :(

Tom's parents evening went well last night. He's doing really well in class but needs to work on his exam technique so has to concentrate on that before exams start in May. He's got a fab history teacher, a woman of around 50 who is so enthusiastic about her subject. I could've talked to her all night...she reminded both me and John of Guy Martin, with her accent and enthusiasm for what she does
It doesn't half make you feel old though when things which took place in your teens are now been studied for history A levels
We had appointments with both of his English Language teachers but only one of them was there  No idea where the other was.

Have a good day all!

Well done to Tom. :D

And    to the Staffie.

Did Mr Staffie say anything to you Jo..I'd be mortified if it was my dog.

Oh poor Billy, sending hugs ((((((((((((x))))))))))))))

Blimey Jo, if your teens are considered History mine must be Ancient History :P

(((((((Osc)))))))))) I hope the phone calls came, and all is well xxxxx

Well I went for my booby-squidge, and my nails redoing, and got a bit of food shopping - it's been a funny day weather-wise, started sunny, then we've a couple of sharp rain showers, and some hail just as I was leaving the hospital grounds  I jumped on the bus instead of walking home as with both hands full of food shopping bags I couldn't use my brolly

We had a lovely day :D

Had to pop to Aldi's for more beer and wine

As we were walking past the clinic, Phillip was outside, so we had a chat about the new Glad bags and other stuff , collected our 4.16 lotto winnings    booked a table at th Capri for tomorrow night :D then went and people watched for an hour so with a beer or two :D munching on some very tasty olives.

Saw K, a friend who has been in hospital - came home, sat outside, in the sun -with another beer or two - until the munchies hit

Very naughty, had some gorgeous cheese, presunto, olives - and chips

I do love living here :D :D :D
