Dare I ask why? It's not as though they should be getting close enough to your bed to be touching the linen etc? Surely as long as the bed is neatly made and the towels hung up tidely that should be enough? Or am I being a lazy sloth

It's recommended by the estate agents for open viewing. If it was an individual viewing, I wouldn't be doing it! Will do what we are told so long as it sells the house ;)

Afternoon :)

I've had a nice time. Found a pair (I thought it was just one) of brand new, 100% cotton linen-look tab-top curtains in a charity shop for £4.50 :D They're 56" x 88", that's a heck of a lot of brand new material. Lovely for bags etc, but actually good enough for clothing I think, they're a gorgeous dark lime colour.
The label says line-dry so I've put them in the washer but won't do them till the morning. Oh and two pretty necklaces for £1 each too :)

The sun is only now just getting through the fog, but there were lots of beautiful magnolia trees in full bloom on the way.
Saw the friends who have a shop, and bought us huge Belgian buns from our favourite proper cake shop :D

Osc would you be able to put the best duvet cover and pillows on over the top of the other ones?
Good luck with the viewing x

It is a pretty little poem isn't it, I'd forgotten it too, I used to have it on a handkerchief :)

Good luck with the viewing Osc - it's a strain keeping a house pristine for viewings isn't it, but your open house system sounds a good one 8-) Hope the funeral goes as well as these things ever can (((x)))

Di what a bargain!!! All that linen  :D 8-)

Hello cruiser - your lawn needs watering??? Blimey we have had enough rain here to water anyone's lawn?

Ally your garden sounds lush! :D

Saundra I think I over pruned my clematis, I hope it grows back ok  :?

More painting here today so as my sinuses were killing me I went out and tried to walk it off ;) The fresh air helped a bit :) Nice here now the fog has burned off - sunny but still rather chilly!

Becky will be home later 8-) :)

Great idea, but unfortunately no - the day-to-day cover is various shades of brown, and the best one is cream, so you would see through it. I don't mind doing it for the open viewing though, it's the one on the bed in the estate agent's photos.
