Friday - Beautiful day.

Postby KateLMead » 14 Mar 2014, 08:16

Another great day, the blossom on the flowering cherry and the almond tree is just lovely. The buds on the trees and bushes a sight to behold following the cruel floods. My herb garden is springing to life the rosemary bushes, bay trees but the thyme is not doing so well and neither is the garden mint. But the Sage bushes are heavy with leaves. It lightens ones heart to see the true promise of spring. Have a great day everyone.

Morning Kate, morning all :)
Glad you have a lovely one. It might just be nice here later, when anyone can see, we have very thick fog.

Bb's working at home today so I'll be off out once the fog lifts.
I mended two of Minnie's lovely big toys yesterday, poor girl was so excited she played herself to sleep :D
Hope you all have a good day

Moring Kate, Di and everyone

Gorgeously sunny morning :D

Most of the blossom has gone here now, we now have green trees and the fields are full of different colours, as the spring flowers are out :D :D My fruit trees are full of lovely smelling blossom though :D

Off to Bente's this morning, to do some cleaning before her visit and Grumpy has yet more work to do there. Then hopefully, if we finish in time, popping into Moncarapacho, so I can make an appointment with the detnist there. Not too happy with the one in our village.

Fish pie for Grumpy tonight - one of his favourite and I loathe making it   can't hold my breaht long enough when de thinging the prawns

Hope you all have a good day and the fog lifts soon x

As for the fish, I'd de-thing as many prawns as you wanted - but can't guarantee many would be left for the pie :D

Ally I love the day before friends arrive, it's a bit like Christmas eve isn't it :D

Morning everyone :)

We had a restless night as Fraggs had a blip in his 'behaving himself' training so we were lifting him off the bed all night  We'll get there though, with the help of this behaviour nurse from the vets I posted about

It's very bright here behind the fog, if that makes sense, so I think once it lifts we'll have a wonderful day - I'm having a fast day as I didn't manage it yesterday - Mick and I went out together and the Lure of the Toasted Teacake proved too strong

Kate I love Spring too, it's a wonderful time of year :D

Ally enjoy your friends coming over :D

Di that is so cute of Minnie :D Bless her!

Ton good luck with the fish pie :D

Not sure yet of my plans today - D had good news about the window business - I will update that thread about it in a minute - B might be home tonight, so I had better clear my washing basket - she'll have the machine commandeered all weekend so I'll need to get mine done today

Have a good day everyone :) xx
