Good morning and a Happy New Year to all my VV friends. :D

I would've posted when I waltzed in at 5.30am...but decided some zzzz's would be better for me.

Showered and fed now and feel great.

Lovely and sunny so a walk out for me shortly.

Don, Conor and myself will be footy watching and having a Chinese takeaway tonight. :)

Enjoy the day.

Happy new year everyone
We had quite one at home. I got migraine in the afternoon, but all the drugs got me up and sitting, even managered a light beer.

Today has been fantastic sunny weather, no wind, no clouds and 25. Beautiful Auckland weather. So we all headed off to here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Takapuna_beach_autostitch.jpg for a swim. Both kids were scared of the water when we got there, bu both were swimming and trying to float by the time we left.

Next was off to my nanas for her annual new years day dinner. And now I'm home again nursing a rather fat blly. I'm sure I could easily pass as 6 month preggers. But help is on the way, I've booked into bootcamp, starting next week.

Morning all. Its a beautiful sunny morning here.

We had a lovely night last night - got in at about 3.30. And I was only a little tiddly. I hardly drink now - the hangovers the next day are too bad. Gone are the days of my drunken spellings on here in the wee hours. Over the Christmas period I have put only one empty wine bottle out for recycling.

Alas Mick cannot say the same and is still in bed nursing the mother of all hangovers.

Off to my mums later for lunch and to collect the girls and Millie and then home to get ready for tomorrow - back to work for me. I seem to have been off for ages!

Have a lovely day everyone, whatever you are doing.
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!

Weka that beach looks wonderful :)
However, we're back from the most lovely walk. We went just along the coast 3 miles, oh my goodness it was beautiful.
Blue, blue sky and sea, stony beach with white waves crashing the only sound. Cold wind stinging our faces till we turned round - there is absolutely nowhere in the world we'd rather have been :)
Now cooking sausages for a nice big brunch :)
