Why not just use VV?

It is so much more refined than TwitBook and we we all get on so well that we do not need the outside world.

OK, being a bit more serious, why get so upset? Before TwitBook all of these things were talked about on street corners and park benches and school playgrounds. OK, because of the Internet, the info is now available in Tierra del Fuegao and Shenzhen. but so what?

Idiots will always be idiots and always be with us, but we do not have to give them air.

I'm not upset WM - I find it hilarious.

I just feel sorry for the poor chikdren, having their lives played out in front of an audience whether they like it or not.

With FB I can keep in touch with people. I use it very differently to how I use VV. I rarely post - I just look. And I like the cosines of VV - I wouldn't want all my FB friends to be on here!

Live and let live I think :? You can always select what you see from certain friends ;) :)

I probably go on a bit too much about mine and I do post pictures ie the photo session last week, but I'm not apologising about it  If it gets too much, either block or change the settings ;)

It's up to users how much or how little they use social media IMO

Having said that I do worry about some of the photos people post of their tiny children, in baths and sat on potties, or half naked - those worry me but for entirely different reasons :? I just hope they have set their security settings tightly enough :?

Some of the comments on here have just made me

I agree Debih; I do feel so sorry for some of the kids who's parents keep posting rather embarrassing pictures.

On a slightly different note; my SIL in SA never quite figured out how to send private messages via FB so would always send messages to her daughter Bianca who was staying in the UK a while back via her wall - some rather cringe worthy soppy. Poor Bianca - she was (and is) a good egg and just took it all in her stride and just put up with it. The other daughter however banned her mom from contacting her via FB; not that I blame her

I am quite happy sticking with Vocal Voices, and have no desire for joining any other chat site.

What annoys me are the people who play about on Twitter when they should be doing the job they are paid to do,
such as Politicians, etc. I tried once to get more information about Police services in my area, and was shocked
when I was told to look on Twitter, for goodness sake. What's the world coming to?

It's a good job I'm not a boss now, they wouldn't know what's hit them.

i very rarely post on my FB
iv banned my ex DIL and a few more people so i cant see there posts and they cant see mine which suits me
i love to see lilly and her mum and grandchildren
it keeps me in touchwith family
but i usually send family e mails anyway
i probably offend some people who want to be a friend simply because i cant relate to them
because i only know VV names so sorry folk :D

I think people can use it as much as they like us I just don't understand the logic of posting every aspect of your life on there, particular your children's. I feel sorry for the poor little things.
