then we watched One Day - Bb hadn't read the book so I was very careful not to give him any clues I hadn't been sure if I wanted to see it but enjoyed it.

We only watched it because there was nothing else on, and have to say we all enjoyed it

Today has - typically - been absolutely beautiful, and I have been at work all day It's just been me in today, but there's always something to be getting on with so it hasn't been a bad day, except I got a paper cut on my finger that wouldn't stop bleeding

Tomorrow is the day my decorator comes to start the staircase, so when I got home this evening I have been taking down pictures, curtains and light shades and giving the ledges a flick with the feather duster. I hope that's enough! It doesn't half look bare atm!

Hope Jen is safely home soon and that all goes well for Shell and family xxx

Gal I had put off seeing the film but thought they'd done a good job - obviously helped that David Nicholls did the screenplay
