The sandwich conversation

Postby Ally » 31 Dec 2012, 14:57

Don's just come back from Malaga (I couldn't be chuffed to go. I've done the ironing, changed the bed linen and watched back to back Sweeney.) :D :D

I'm hungry says he..would you like something.
Yes please, I reply.
Just make me whatever you're having, thanks.

Now..this would be me when making a filled baguette for eg.

Would you like a baguette?
Him: Yes please

I would then just go ahead and make a nice filled baguette. :P

This has been the conversation we've just had.

Don..would you like a chicken baguette?
Me: yes please..just do mine the same as yours thanks.

Then comes 20 questions. :?
Do you want salad on it?
Do you want tomato on it?
Cheese?
Sliced pepino?
Pepper?
Jalapenos?
Would you like mayo?

What part of 'do mine like yours' didn't he understand?

I'm still waiting for it...it'll be worth the wait though. ;) ;) ;)

At least he knows where these things are...the questions I'd be faced with from John is he offered to make lunch would start with "Ermmm...where're the baguettes?"

I made Grumpy a chicken, garlic mayo and watercress butty - for breakfast - but it was the really lovely bread we gt from Aldi - that makes all the difference.

Tomorow moring, I've promised him a chicken breast, wrapped in presunto, with garlic and local goats cheese - and that watercress  with garlic mayo.

With some sparkley fizz

Come out of the airport, turn right, drive for about 25 minutes on the EN125 - watching out for the maniacs - turn right to Fuseta, we're on the left, in the row of houses-

Half nine ish?
