At last iv always done poached eggs like that for years
It's so easy and I lift them out with an old fashioned potatoe masher

Or a fish slice

Far too much hassle!

I bought a clever little gadget for a couple of quid which you half fill with boiling water and then crack an egg into the water, then you MICROWAVE it for 30 seconds - tra la!! :D :D

It's such a boon when I am so tight on time on my lunch break at work :D (I do come home for lunch but then I don't have long to prep anything, doing it the normal way wastes precious minutes )

Cleaning the microwave when one explodes will waste a few more
And one will, eventually ;) :D
