We are in Dorset.

We have friends up on the cliff but it must be very windy up there………not sure I would want to walk up!!

The Police have closed our road off to stop people coming down to have a look. Fire Brigade are outside too but we are ok so far. The waves in the harbour occasionally go over the top and although high tide has happened, the Environment Agency are saying the danger time is between 10 pm and 2 am. It is a force nine gale at the moment. :o

The houses facing the sea have waves crashing over the top of them and the back gardens are filling up with water.

A neighbour has just phoned to say the police are evacuating those in the ground floor apartments. Luckily we are in a three storey town house so we will stay put and just move upstairs if it gets that bad though I doubt it will…could be famous last words.

They are evacuating to The Crown :D so maybe we will change our minds later

I do so hope you'll be ok Molly. We have force 10

Yes I gather from the EA website that the danger time is after high tide, the fullest volume comes later.
Do let us know tomorrow if you can, won't you (((x)))
