That one in Southampton scared me Kaz, I don't think our car would have fared so well.
Every year there are some throughout the Forest, with either fatalities or very near misses.

Back from the village, with 2 lots of tablets :D

Hopefully by tomorrow, I'll be rid of the constant hiss in my ears - sadly, that will probably mean I'll be able to hear Grumpy again

Stay safe over there xx

No valentine's cards for us, we left too early in January to get any, it will be the first time in 41yrs we haven't given one to each other. Not a problem though, we wouldn't swap this sunshine for anything right now. This evening we're going to a valentines do at the golf course where we stayed last year. It was really good, yummy food, live music and dancing, so hoping it's as good this year.

Hope you all stay safe and dry and have a good day :D

Hope the pills sort you out Ton :)

Jen that sounds lovely, enjoy it :)

We went into town - needed dog food anyway - Bb wore his waterproof trousers but the ones I have are much too big
Looked at the M&S meal deal but didn't really fancy any of the starters (some of them were huge!), so instead we bought frying steak and panninis, for steak sandwiches :D
And a litre of red wine, a bag of rocket, and a coffee & walnut cake :D
And I made Bb buy me 2 bunches of daffs since he hadn't thought of it himself :)

Afternoon all from a very soggy Dublin  Mr. Osc wasn't playing golf today so we decided to go to Ikea to see if we could get some furnishing ideas.......we've decided that we are definitely not Ikea people  It was only our second ever visit and I reckon we would only ever go there for accessories and storage boxes - we even decided to try the famous meatballs, shared a plate and they are with me yet  Then we went to a furniture shop where we have bought stuff before and had a much more productive time, getting ideas on furniture and colours etc. Time for a rest now, as we are going out dancing this evening. Hope everyone is warm and dry :)

Hi all - got a very unexpected but most welcome delivery of red roses this morning :D :D We'd said we weren't 'doing' Valentines as t was his birthday yesterday, but he's gone and done it...I got him some bars of chocolate when I was out in town   Well - he's already had his presents :D

Started out ok weather wise here, but then this afternoon, it changed and is now very wet and windy again  I went up to collect Lewis from school shortly after 3 and got drowned....and that was me sitting in the car until it was a few minutes away from them coming out of school  He's supposed to be sleeping here tonight and then starting his first group swimming lessons tomorrow morning, but apparently this week has been cancelled :( T said he would still take him, but we'll see what happens as Donna wants to spend time with him tomorrow as well....we all do, he's adorable :D I just got him a colouring book and crayons along with a pairs card game in town, and he LOVES the latter! We have played it for ages since getting home - must have tired him out as he is having a snooze atm 8-)

Hope everyone stays as dry as poss today xxx

Yes he is Kaz - he's really fun to have around, so long as there are only a couple of adults, if there are more he tends to play up a bit :|

In the end he hasn't stayed (long story) but he will very soon I'm sure :)

Good evening all!
It's a bit nasty out there. It started off dry but has been wet and wild since 11ish :? It's been a training day today so the boys have been home.

John and Joe are currently driving down to South Wales to spend the night at his Mom's  I really wish they hadn't gone but he insisted that they'll be okay driving down :? He'd originally booked the day off so that it would at least be light when they drove down but had to cancel as he's too busy.
