If I'd been deprived of lovely cheddar I bet I'd do that too :D

When I still lived at home Mum would be in despair, she'd go to the fridge to slice cheese for sandwiches and always find it was strangely multi-angled - and rather small. Dad and I would both regularly go and chop off a corner :D

If you wanted to restrain yourself you could cut it into smaller blocks and freeze them ;)

Oh God Di - I'm fessing up here!

I did chop some up and freeze it (as advised by my mum who has witnessed first hand my cheese fetish) - but my craving was so bad I ended up eating half frozen cheese!  :? :o

I should weigh about 20 stone the amount I've eaten today! :P :P

You could grate some, to save for toppings - or had you done that? :P

The answer is to buy more cheese.

Then when you've scoffed a whole block just replace it with another and kid yourself you have had none!

I am missing cheese big style on my diet. I have found it easier to avoid it completely than to stick to tiny portions.

I have a Camembert and a bottle of prose co in the fridge. It is my treat when I lose this first stone.

Defeats the object slightly but I don't care. Baked Camembert, chunky bread and cold proseecco, come on weight, get shifting!!

If I ate that much cheese, my stomach would be seriously upset and I would have the mother and father of a headache

I woke this morning and was very glad to see my lovely Don lying in bed next to me - I had the oddest dream in which he was being chased by leather clad spies who were trying to murder him with extra long steel envelope openers and Don kept calling out for me to help him and get the motorbike revved up! - a dream which I'm convinced was cheese fest induced.

:P    Serves you right!!! Poor old Don :P ;)

Osc you're intolerant of dairy then? My MIL is too, very much so, but can eat goats' cheese, butter etc. She gets it in Sainsburys - St Helen's Farm :) Joking aside I try not to eat too much cheese, it aggravates my eczema but I so love it  ;) :D I buy goats' milk these days, I was already into it a bit before the Badger cull stuff here, but that tipped me over into buying it all the time 8-)
