In today's Mailonline Sandra Howard is modelling some dresses and her husband had to try and guess the cheaper ones from the expensive.

She is a beautiful looking women (I think she's in her 60's?) and has a stunning figure.

And just for the record I really liked the first 2 dresses and none of the others.

I thought of your dress when I seen that one. :D

I think I'll treat myself to that dress actually - it's so pretty. :D

Between that one and my black 'Bardot' dress I need somewhere glam to go.

I saw the Mail today, she has a great figure, and yes she was a top model in the 60s 8-)

I also loved the first two, especially the Matalan bargain.....I also liked the purple drapey one, not particularly on Sandra as she is far more petite than me but I would like that for myself.....I have a couple of dresses in that style and for a larger bust with a reasonably good waistline they are so flattering ;)

I dunno Kaz, it looked too bulky around the neck/top, think I'd be a bit swamped. But then I'm very narrow across the shoulders, with a bit more width you're right it would look better :)

I liked the silver one with the slash across the neck but couldn't wear it anyway - and would have nowhere to wear it :D

I am probably more broad shouldered than you Di :)

That silver one was nice too but I like longer sleeves on dresses, not keen on my arms :?

No, me too - I liked it objectively, not for me :D
I don't mind my arms, but the op unfortunately does leave an ugly armpit :?

It's only as I've got older I've realised I'm a very small build :)

You do look nice and petite in your recent photos Di. :D

I have what Don calls 'swimmers shoulders'.

Although I'm slim I'm not 'small slim' iyswim

I always feel quite ungainly standing next to my very petite Spanish friends.

I am fairly big build too I think - that's why at 9st 6 I looked so skinny and ill whereas many people at my height (just a smidge under 5ft 7) would look just right, great in fact 8-) Anything under 10st is too low for me...in fact about 10st 4 is my optimum and when I looked my best I think :)

Di you do look to have a petite build :) :)
