Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here, wish I could send some over for you all.

Today we're off on an island tour. The guide is well known here and is said to have a great sense of humour. We should hear lots of interesting stuff, really looking forward to it, sounds like fun. It's a full day so I expect we'll be cream crackered when we get back, oh and probably a bit tiddly as there are lots of rum punch stops along the way

Hope you're all having a good day :D

Rain. Rain with a vengeance, with ever stronger winds.
All ferries out, hoverlink out, 4 train routes out. The local radio has given up listing all the closed roads.

Apparently by normal measures, we've had 6 months' worth of rain this year already, and a months' worth due over the next few days - at least :( :o

It will stop one day, won't it :| :?

Afternoon all, we had awful rain this morning, but it eventually stopped and we have sunny spells with showers now, still very windy though. I walked down to buy fish in a sort of lull and it wasn't even that cold. Horrifed by all the storm coverage on Sky News, just saw Staines, Kaz.and the Swan that you mentioned - totally understand why you are so worried ((((((Kaz)))))).

Not done much so far today, went for fish as I said, Mr. Osc was making some fish pies so I did all the clearing up after that (love fish pie but it doesn't half use a lot of pots and pans!) Then we went to our building to talk about how to lay out our living room when the time comes, so that was interesting. Had lunch and now mooching around on the internet. Out dancing tonight. Stay safe, everyone xxx
