We were at a party a few weeks ago and the hosts had a glossy white kitchen and it was very "now" but for how long? And it felt so cold and clinical.

I looked at white ones but I thought the same re the clinical look, so I went for cream gloss, with non-gloss bench tops!

Mick wanted white gloss and I stuck to my guns and said no, it has to be cream.

I did say that I would have cream gloss but in the end he was happy with my choice.

I have let him choose the worktops, sink and taps though (although he doesn't know that the only reason I didn't make a fuss was because he chose exactly the same ones that I would have done).

I bet that looks lovely, do you have any pictures?

The kitchen at that party I mentioned was something else!
It didn't help that the flooring was grey, with black granite counters and the walls were a very deep turquoise - it was very much a man's kitchen so I did wonder if the fella there did the majority of the cooking?
However, the spotlights gave out pink and yellow light...and there were blue lights set under the base units, just above the plinths!

That's really nice! My new kitchen is mostly drawers. I wasn't sold on them at all last week, but this week I'm starting to love them.
James is going to look fantastic in there
