We have snow!

It has been falling quite heavily this morning but has rained inbetween so fortunately the roads, etc are fine.

But because we live so high up, we have a back garden and surrounding hillside covered with snow. As long as it stays off the lane thats all I care about!!

We had an intense snow flurry around 10:30 this morning, big fluffy flakes, and for a short time it settled. There was at least 1/2 inch on the car!

But now it's all gone as the sun has come out, apart from a few patches on the grass.

Sorry to read of Chris and your old NDN's problems, Kaz, hope they're coping ....

We've had it here too Debbie. Heavy rain to start with and then suddenly everything was white over and big fat flakes were falling. Typically I was out at the time so had to walk 2 miles home in it with my heavy gym bag and two bags of shopping. Even the main roads were bad. I think it took people by surprise because rain was forecast for this morning with a possibility of 'wet' snow for later on in the day.

The sun is shining brightly now so hopefully that'll clear it.

I just hope my ex's house doesn't flood....they are moving stuff upstairs as it is in the next road :(

This is why I'm so worried about them, this is a couple of minutes walk away
