Morning Ally :)

Not the happiest here, very worried about the flooding - not for us here but for my boys who are both in the thick of it - Chris still stuck in his flat and the ex and Harry literally yards from the same so I might not be around too much as I'm in a very stressed mood about it all

Take care every one, stay dry if you can xxxx

((((((((((((((((((Kaz))))))))))))))))))))) Hope things improve for you all hunni xxx

I am another who is stressed today. After being chock a block at work for weeks, but at least having a second body all this year so far to help, today I am alone with a full to bursting clinic :( There is just too much work for one person and although we are going to employ another person, at some point, that hasn't happened yet and so when one person has holiday (we are one staff short this week) our shop loses out. The frustrating thing is that where my mate Jan is going, they don't have a flippin clinic and there are ALWAYS two in there!!   I will never understand this...yes it is a bigger shop size-wise, but how does that make a difference when they don't have clinic????

Rant over.

It's very windy, cold and we have had snow flurries this morning.

I will be glad when the clock hits 5.30 today.

Thanks Ally for the hugs xxxxx

You too Gal, and no that isn't at all fair, leaving you to cope alone!

The floods have reached my old road in Egham and are only a street away from my ex and Harry. I have rung and he is keeping H off school - he buses to school several miles away - and is going to the corner shop a few yards away to get bottled water etc. I told him to move the telly and stuff upstairs! Not even sure yet how Chris is this morning, or whether he will be able to get to work or even out of his flat :?

Sorry - I am blocking the morning thread with my ramblings :? xxxxx

Whilst there is nothing that we can do to help at least by letting us know Kaz we can keep your family in our thoughts and keep hoping the situation won't get worse.

Kaz, I too would be hugely stressed if I were you (((hug))). It's horrendous over there and more rain is expected so you have every right / reason to worry. Do your ex and H - and also Chris - have somewhere to go if they need to?

Gal - the management of your company don't seem to be in touch with the daily runnings. Just remember that there is only so much you can do and try (easier said than done I know) to not stress about what just cannot be done. You know you've done your best so take some comfort from that. (((hug)))

Ally - please please please please please - send some of that sunshine over this way.

Yes they both have friends and the ex has family, both nearby and in Camberley so won't be stranded, but I am worried, and feel helpless which is the worse thing :(

Morning all. Rain and gales here today. The villages around us are flooded now. Five rivers run through Salisbury  Our village is okay as we are on high ground, but I'm so sorry for those who have water lapping against their houses now :(
Kaz hope your boys stay safe and dry.
Food shopping for me, if I can get to the shops!
Tango tonight...or not
Wishing everyone a good and dry day if possible x
