fab day today

Postby pollR78 » 07 Feb 2014, 19:57

Well we have been off today and off all next week :D :D

Soooo.........we got up and went to Costa Coffee for brekkie, then headed over to Fife to visit my lovely Auntie and Uncle, met their new dog, who is gorgeous! Chatted and then went out to some shops and had lunch, then a drive to a little beach town and had a walk on the beach with doggy before heading back to house. More chat and left about 530pm, its been really lovely!

Probably said before, I haven't had much of a relationship with them growing up as they lived in Stockton and other places, but moved up here in October, my aunt has been in remission from the horrible C.. for nearly a year now :D :D and they are just LOVELY people!

Amy made macaroni cheese with my aunt and we were given a dish of it home for tea, so had it not long ago and it was delicious!

is it bedtime yet?....

That's lovely Poll, so nice to have family near enough to visit properly :)
Macaroni cheese is always good in my book (but don't mention it to Loz!) :D

Thanks folks, yep it really was a great day :D

Auntie also said that Amy can go and have a sleepover if I ever want to go out, I don't really have anyone to look after her as my sister usually says no (plus Amy doesn't really like to stay there), and my mum only ever takes her if I get a bank shift at work - rarely so I can actually have a night out!

:D :D

That's great that you and Amy are now able to spend time with them both and get to know them, really pleased that your aunt is doing well!
