Thanks Ton, he is loving it, and it means a great deal to him - and to us - that this is a team not of SN children but children from all the local schools. H is right at the top of the tree in his special school, will be taking GCSE in core subjects, and is expected to gain entry to a 'normal' college at 16 so the more friends he has, and confidence he gains, with his peer group the better! It is well worth sacrificing a few of 'our' weekends with him, if we have to xxx

The sun didn't last here, we have showers! Mick ran me up to Sainsbury's so I could get the paper, and we got some lovely looking lamb steaks for our dinner later :D "Someone" ie me, forgot to take a chicken out of the freezer last night :?

Poll getting a new bathroom is exciting, good luck with all that hunny :D

Di one of the slats on the venetian blind in our bathroom is split :( Some has tried to either open or close the top part of the window and been rough :(

Osc Michael sounds like a real "man's (little) man" LOL :D :D I'm sure he loves his Granny to bits though 8-) :) xxxx

Heavy rain this morning. Went in the car for the paper. The sun came out this afternoon but the black clouds are coming back.
Taking the car to be reapired tomorrow while we are away on holiday. So will be missing for two weeks.

Another cruise, cruiser, where to this time? We are doing two weeks from Southampton to the Med in July on Independence of the Seas, really looking forward to it.

Kaz the slats have fallen apart at the middle, can only think it's because when we do get sun it hits that :?
The shop only does made to measure blinds so it'll have to wait till one of us can get to Homebase or something.
Success for the French windows though, have posted on Homes :D

It's brill H is doing so well isn't it, and no doubt the football is helping all round with confidence :)

We have chicken - no bargains around but W/rose 3 for a tenner is a bargain anyway. And they're meant to be 1.2kg chicks but 2 of ours are 1.5 and one's 1.7

Osc, Lewis is just like that with his Grandad, although I was thrilled when I returned from work yesterday to hear L shout "Gran!!" - excited at seeing me :D We had been about to take him swimming but he had a bit of a cold so we took him to the park for a run about and feed the ducks instead 8-)

Kaz that's brilliant about H!! :D :D

Bummer about the blind Di :(

Today T has been at the farm working till around 1pm (from 6am!) so after he got home we had a quick coffee and then drove the 40 or so minutes to Seaburn, where we had a walk along a windy but dry beach, to our favourite cafe, and then back again. Currently he is having a snooze on the sofa and I have a piece of pork in the oven and we'll eat soon.
