When pegging out items of washing that require two pegs those two pegs MUST be the same colour as each other.

And they absolutely MUST colour coordinate with the item of clothing that they're holding (where's the blush smilie when you need him??)....

My sister does that..she has zillions of pegs for that very reason!

I'm just getting used to my new dishwasher and haven't found my ideal way of loading it.

A friend and I were talking about dishwasher loading on Boxing Day and she said that she had a special way of loading hers and if she was at someone else's house whilst she would help clear pots and put away she wouldn't dream of helping them stack their dishwasher for fear of doing it the wrong way for them!

Yes, exactly the same here. The clothes must all be facing me and the two pegs have to be the same colour.

Every forum I've ever been on eventually gets a thread about matching pegs - and then scary people start posting about their pegs needing to match!!!

My towels are in the linen cupboard with the nice folded 'side' facing out.

Biggest towels at the back and then size wise in different columns.

And don't get me started on my undies compulsion for neatness.

When I'm in Miss Osc's house I have to resist the urge to unload and reload their dishwasher....(well, they could fit a whole lot more in there if they tried ). I have a certain way of loading ours, Mr. Osc does it slightly differently but near enough. We have friends in England where the wife wouldn't even dare to try and load their dishwasher as he is so very particular about it, and when they have visited us, he has stood over me tutting as I've loaded and not altogether in a jokey manner!!

As for the washing, well I'm not fussed about matching pegs, but I do like to use the plastic pegs to hang up the underwear (and all socks are hung in matching pairs) and the wooden ones for the rest. Guess I'm not too OCD then
