Brilliant!
That's one of my favourite songs, and if I'm ever having a bad day, one listen to that and everything's fine :D

Following my treatment for cancer in Cheltenham, myself and the rest of our jazz band decided on invitation to do a gig there.
The area we usually waited was full of individuals carrying the weight of this insidious condition on their shoulders, looking depressed, no smiles. That was until we struck up and started playing, feet started tapping, smiles, faces lit up, some danced their way to chemo and radiotherapy. The atmosphere completely changed . Music is truly a great Healer.

What a wonderful experience, Frank. Sweet Caroline is one of my Golden Oldies.

It's true that music has the power to transform things.

I read the other day that children who are exposed to music in their home life
usually do much better when they grow up, and thinking about it, I think that
is true. The only doubts I have is that much of the modern pop music you hear
today doesn't seem, to me, to have good musical quality.
