hi all :)

Sorry not been around much, not quite sure where my time is going, work, collect Amy, get home and get us fed and watered, and before I know it I am trying to have some chilled time watching tv before bed!

Hope you are all well.

We are good, Amy is off school tomorrow for in-service day - I worked extra so could have tomorrow off, then we are both off next week for February half term!

New bathroom is to be fitted next week, so we bought some cake mixes and have dvd's to watch and lego to build, so will keep us busy when the work men are here. The council don't rush and say it will take approx. 5 days  hey ho, hope its nice when its done!

Anyway, hope you are all well

I haven't had any washing out this year so far. When I have been home it has rained and when it has started off dry I've been going out so not dated risk it.

My tumble drier has Ben used a lot. It is very old (used to be my Nan's) and is not at all economical. But it is very, very good so I don't need to have it on long to get things dry.

This year I want my utility room sorting out. It will have the washer and (probably a new) drier in but will also have some cupboards and an electric heater, as well as the radiator. Then when the central heating isn't on I can close the door, put the electric heater on so it gets hot in there and dry my clothes. An electric heater will cost nothing compared to a tumble drier.

I seem to have lots of washing at the moment. Mick comes home filthy every day if he is working outside and I come home filthy at least once a week from the stables. And I've been out on site at work a lot lately - revolting building sites!

Debih those electric airers from Lakeland have really good reviews and would probably be cheaper than a heater, may be worth looking at?

I don't really have anywhere either Kaz, but I do have my nice big airing cupboard ;)
They look good though, another year of this weather and I'd be happy with it on the landing :)

My mum has one and they are good.

My plan though is to have one of those ceiling airers and a normal clothes horse thing so an electrivpc radiator would dry both.

The one that Mick has in mind would just cost a few pence per hour to run.
