The drive up was wet too - especially on the motorway, but apart from getting soaked on Tuesday night, the weather was pretty good, for February
Looked at the house in Monte do Saraiva again and the owners are coming back in April, so we'll be popping up to see them
Bought loads of stuff in he market - the scrummiest cheeses - and ate out both nights.
The only problems were the hotel - the air con wasn't working, so we were not that warm and when I had a shower, the water ran cold very quickly.
Staying in tonight - weather is rubbish and my cold is getting worse
but we're going down to the Capri tomorrow night
