Bumper Cars

Postby cruiser2 » 06 Feb 2014, 16:53

I am talking about mine. Going into the car park at the chemists this morning, scrapped the rear nearside wheel arch. A large van had decided he was coming out. I was making sure I did not hit him as the entrance is only just wide enough for two vehicles. I caught the metal gate post.
Am taking it tomorrow to get an estimate having notified the insurance company.
Hope to have it done while we are away on holiday.

Oh what a nuisance, and I bet that will cost a bit.

Oh no :(

It's covered by the insurance though isn't it; so all you'd have to pay is the excess?

Yes it is covered by my insurance. Took it to the garage which the insurance company use for the estimate. When they phoned me yesterday afternoon, I asked if it could be done while I am on holiday. They confirmed this before I left today. This means it will be done while we are away on holiday. They are very busy as another couple who were in reception were told that 27th February was the earliest date they could book their car in.
Good service both by the insurance company and the garage.
