Not dry here, just not pouring or blowing a gale ;)

I went out for that walk - I was in desperate need of one - got to town, bought some very cheap cleaning bits and bobs, a new peg bag and pegs (for if it ever stops raining) and a new dustpan and brush all for silly prices - Wilkos are having a sale. They also have some good branded toiletries and cosmetics on sale - I got my face cream for £3.66

Got back to find that Fraggle had disgraced himself on the upstairs landing :( Perhaps his walk wasn't long enough this morning, or maybe he was anxious, but anyway instead of sitting down with a nice hot cuppa after my long rainy walk I've just spent 20 minutes scrubbing the carpet :( It will need Mick to run the Vax over it later - I can't manage the Vax these days

We've not long started to trust him with the run of the house whilst out, we used to shut him in the kitchen with his bed and some toys etc, but he'd been so good for ages. Now I think it's back to square one...................... :( :|

Oh that is a shame Kaz when you thought you were getting past that with him :(

It's pouring here and has been for the last hour or two. Billy keeps standing by the back door, so I open it, he sticks his nose out and has a good sniff and decides that's as far as he's going  At least the washing dried earlier - 1x kingsize duvet cover, 2x double covers, 4 bath towels, bottom sheets and pillow cases, jeans and t shirts. I have to say, this Winter has been brilliant for drying washing outside. I'm usually at the end of my tether by now.

John's due back from his couple of days in the North East later tonight so I'm just off to make a pasta bake and his can be warmed up when he gets home.

Thanks Jo, I did feel a bit upset, as I thought we were past all that..... Luckily Mick is usually here so they don't get left alone a lot

Glad your bedding got dry, too much rain here this winter, thank goodness for my tumble dryer

My tumble dryer is useless, I've got a combined washer dryer and it takes forever to dry anything, and the radiators are fitted too close to the wall to be able to dry anything on those.
I think we've got off very lightly here when it comes to rain this Winter, even though we've had a lot but it's mostly fallen later in the day or through the night.

Oh dear Ton :(
And oh dear Kaz, what a shame :(

Can't remember the last time any washing got outside here, we've had wind with rain, or still wet air. Ours is a washer/dryer too, it gets done eventually but only if you split it up to dry it. Thankfully the airing cupboard is huge, so I can fit a lot in there once it's half-dry.

Nice to see you Ton, hope your break was good :)

Jo my sister used to have one of those washer/dryers, she found it a nuisance too :? Di I'd love a proper airing cupboard  We have a cupboard on the first landing with the hot water tank in it but no shelves, or room for shelves
