Frank - so glad you got the boiler sorted; and as you (and everyone else) say - spare a thought for the poor people who have been affected by this for a good few weeks now.

Aggers, that was a good piece of writing and I totally agree with it. There are times I am glad I don't have children as I really do not like the legacy our generation is leaving future generations. Mankind in general has lost respect for this planet which is so sad; and sadly I think it's too far gone for a quick fix. It's going to take decades of trying to undo the damage, but first mankind needs to want to change and be willing to be educated.

Oooo Teignmouth too, Kaz. Hope Dools is OK, has anyone heard from her? You must have a good landlord, WM and am glad you got your heating fixed, so soon after the electricity business too. Sorry also for the poor people who have been flooded for so long but a do have to say it is one hell of a risk living on a flood plain and they must have been aware of that when they went there. I don`t think that even if the rivers had been dredged properly it would have made that much difference to the level.
