Now they are really early this year.

Postby lissie » 04 Feb 2014, 19:51

Every year I post when the daffodils are in bloom on the roundabout at the top of our road.
We'll this is the earliest I have seen them!
They are in full bloom today.

Our daffs are certainly through and growing but some way off producing buds yet.

Not the same, I know, but I bought 2 small bunches of miniature daffodil buds for Mrs O from M&S today, £1 a bunch. They looked a bit brownish, TBH, and I wondered how good they might be, but within 4 hours of being in the warm sitting room, they're now fully open and a lovely display.

Love daffs brought some in morrissons the other week
And nearly sate and watched them open
My bulbs are not even up yet
