Deep joy!

Postby Ally » 03 Feb 2014, 22:06

Popped into Mercadona tonight for some bread.

Due to my loathing of shopping I am one of those people that go into a shop and will not, do not, and never ever will be persuaded to deviate from whatever it is I go I am going in for.

So it is with deep joy my eyes sort of done a three point swivel turn just left of the wholemeal baguette section and what did I see??!!!

Kit Kats!!!! 4 finger Kit Kats!!!!

We never get treats like this in Mercadona. 8-) :D :D :D

A pack of 5 was €1.60 I have no idea if that is expensive so I bought 10 of them!

I actually saw some oxo cubes in Intermarche once - a packet of 4 cubes cost 5 euros :o

So they stayed on the shelf

That's quite cheap I think (the Kitkats).
I never buy single bars of chocolate because they're so expensive, but I think a single anything is about 50p.
Packs of 4 (of anything) go on offer for £1 :)

I bought a 4 pack of Kit Kats from Poundland today, and Tesco have had some multipacks including a 4 pack of Dairy Milk for £1 (also bought today).

Di, in Tesco their single small bars of pretty much anything seem to be around the 65p mark - when did a bar of chocolate or a pack of Polos get so dear?? On most of them though you can get 3 for £1.20. They do Reese's Cups so that works out really cheap for them :D
