Well, it wasn't raining when I got up, but it looks like it will be very soon - very strong winds today too.
Lets hope the new year brings some new weather.

Didn't get out after all yesterday, so will be out in it today instead.

Morning all

We've had a fabulous and very hectic week filled with family and fun

This morning though Mr.J's woken up with a nasty cold and high temperature Of course it isn't any old cold, he's dying, so I've plied him with pills, told him stay where he is, sweat it out and keep his germs to himself........after all I don't want to catch it and there's only two days to get him fit before out new year outing

Need to pop down the road for papers and a loaf of bread and then I'm going to relax on the sofa and watch rubbish on the box.........bliss

Good morning all, it's a very wet and windy one here

John's gone up to the Lake District today for a bike ride - rather him than me - and I do need to go out and get some fresh fruit and veg at some point but the forecast is for it to die down a little after lunch so I'll stay in a while longer and hope it's correct.

I did intend to do some ironing today but somehow found myself doing it at 1am...a sure sign I must be starting to feel better if I'm noticing jobs that need doing and auctioning them immediately

Something I do need to do is transfer all of my contacts from my old phone to the new one John bought me for Christmas. It could take a while I hate doing things like that.
