Good afternoon all!
It's a cold one here and has been snowing lightly all morning, it's not sticking though thankfully and it wasn't icy this morning although an icy start was forecast after all of the rain we had yesterday.
I've been to the gym and then walked Billy, we were only going to have a short walk around the block but it turned into an hour, a very cold hour.

I've got some ironing to do and hopefully will fit another Billy walk in before the forecast rain starts. Tonight it's big weekly shop time so I also need to see what we need and plan menus for the week ahead.

Have a good day everyone!

Good afternoon friends. Cold and dull here - had a few flakes of snow this morning.

Not doing a lot today. Having a friend visiting us this afternoon.

Hope you are all well.

No snow here, but the sky does have that full, heavy look...

No idea what I've done to this finger, but strangely driving seems to have eased it (I always drive us over there as I drop Bb off at the barbers first).
Nice little bargain in the charity shop, they had loads of embroidery threads in bags of 7 or 8 skeins for £1 :D I only use small amounts, little bits of decoration on bags, cushions, etc, and they're over £1 each in the shops.
So I got a couple of bags with lots of different colours in, then was told all the pink stickered things were buy 2, get one free so by way of a contrast got an Eminem cd

I don't have any ironing left at all Jo  :D

   Di, I think you could call that an eclectic buy ;) Bargain though! :D :D

Our sky looks very yellow too, and so cold I wouldn't rule out snow!! I realised all the shopping I needed could bought in Iceland, cheaper than in Sainsbury's (for instance the seeded bread we like is 35p cheaper!) so I went there instead - and it is bitter out

I know, embroidery and Eminem

Very very cold!
We stopped off at Lidl and got what we'll need for the next few days, it's so cheap but not always worth going from here. Now they have an in-store bakery it's even better - sandwich baguettes are 15p each! :D
And big heads of lovely celery for 69p, it's over a pound in Tesco
It always gets used -bolognese, soups, stews etc but also a yummy sandwich filling, finely chopped and mixed with grated cheddar & cream cheese ;) :)

It does pay to shop around these days Di ;) The baby salad leaves were cheaper in Iceland too, exactly the same as the Sainsbury's ones, just cheaper! Same for the milk and the bananas  No brainer really :? ;)
