I have a dilemma-please help

Postby lissie » 28 Jan 2014, 23:00

I will now get an extra 25p a week on my pension :o
Please tell me what to spend it on.
I don`t want to go silly and waste it :D
I have just realised it would take me a year to buy a bottle of scotch with it :o
What a joke this is

Steady lissie! I have heard that sudden windfalls can change people. I would hate you to think you were above us all now that you are rich and famous

Oh Lissie, that really is awful isn't it. When I was doing the voluntary work for Age Concern ten years ago people were coming in then complaining about it and asking what they thought people could do with that. It hasn't gone up since then at all. Shocking.

All I can say is................"Don't spend it all at once"

Wild living Lissie - go for it! :P

On a serious note, imagine how much they are spending in admin, just to give people such a ridiculously small amount :? :(

I've been saving mine up until I have enough to buy a buy a buggy
for when I can no longer walk. Fortunately I don't need one yet.

Personally I think it's a bit of a farce. Typical of stupid politicians.
It would make more sense to it altogether when giving all us
pensioners a decent annual increase.

Be practical Lissie - in two weeks you will have enough to buy a 2nd class stamp!
