Good morning... it's freezing drizzle here at the moment. Driving in to work was a little tricky, but I made it OK.
We are expecting 2-4 inches of snow today, so the drive home will be iffy.

I had an unexpected bonus yesterday - I received a small check as payment of a class action lawsuit against the
company where some of my funds are invested. :P :P :P :D :D :D

I didn't realize it was even going on, but apparently they did something wrong when dispersing funds and now
have to pay back several thousands of investers. Unfortunately it was sent to Mr. E who, it must be said, was very honest about it. He made me drive over there to pick it up, tho.... now I can cash it and mail him his half. He couldn't do it because he's still not supposed to drive. The visit with him has left me emotionally drained, as it always does.
I wish he'd get good news for a change and turn his life around, but he has nothing going for him at the moment.
Plus, the doctors have taken numerous blood tests and can't figure out what's going on with him. They think he's got
leukemia, but can't pinpoint it and I can't make heads or tails of the information Mr. E gives me. So we'll see what
happens there.

Anyway, I'm glad it's the weekend. I feel very tired this morning after tossing and turning most of the night.

Oh Elaine, I hope you had an uneventful drive home...and that the weekend will be easier for you, no wonder the visit to your ex was difficult. I hope he has some answers to his health problems very soon ((((Elaine))))

Lovely news about the cheque though!
