I planted hyacinth and crocus bulbs and a few of the hyacinths are poking through but the crocus are nowhere to be seen yet.

We are now getting 40 mins of daylight a week more than we were getting in mid December; come mid February and it will be nearly two hours more. If temps stay mild(ish) we could be in for a glorious Spring.

I was a bit worried about the crocus bulbs but thinking about it, I always remember getting home from the hospital with newborn Tom and noticing them coming through and that was mid-Feb so maybe they'll be a couple of weeks yet.

Ours are poking through, and the snowdrops are just coming out :)
The crocuses vary quite a bit, some flower early Feb, others not till March.

Piddling down here    but the almond blossom has been out for about a week or so - looks lovely in the fields. All fluffy pink and white trees :D :D
