Morning all. Grey, damp and chilly here. I intend to keep warm today so am currently wearing:-
One grey vest in the clasic "National Coal Board" style
Capacious boxers by Voluminous For Men
Warm socks
Lumberjack shirt
Trousers.
Oh and a fleece as well.
That should do it!

Morning all. It's pouring it down here.

I am sick of the rain but, as we haven't been affected by flooding in our area, am grateful it isn't the white stuff. You don't have to shovel rain!

Hwork day for me today. And I'm going to make soup - probably parsnip.

S has Dan coming here and L is going to her friends house.

We went out last night and I had two large glasses of red. I have a real thick head this morning. I'm getting a real lightweight now I've cut right down. I'll need to get in training for the meet.

Don and Conor were there and it showered for a bit but wasn't too bad according to them.

It rained from when we were walking home about 1am until about 8 this morning but am happy to report it's sunny now.

We're going to walk into town for a mooch and have a beer in Paco's. :D :D

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here, what a surprise  Just having brekkie and then heading out to the beach. Can't believe we've been here for almost two weeks now, we've been extreeeeemely lazy. Guess we'll get round to some sight seeing in a week or so, it's nice not having to rush

Hope you're all safe from the flooding.

Have a lovely day :D

Afternoon all, pretty miserable day here, it was lashing rain when we got up around 9am but I think it's eased off a bit now. Did some unscheduled decluttering, lovely when it happens like that! I went to tidy one shelf in the kitchen and ended up clearing out loads of dishes and baking stuff from all the cupboards  So one bag of dishes, bowls and mugs for Oxfam and a biiiiiig one full of stuff being thrown out, we were really brutal, deliberated over everything deciding whether or not we would need them in the future. Might do a bit more upstairs this afternoon.....or not  Need to have my lunch, then a shower and I'll see how I feel. Might just read my book or continue uploading my family tree stuff onto the programme I downloaded. Hope Lissie has her OH home by now. Enjoy your Saturday everyone :D
