I have a drawer stuffed with socks, all balled up, mostly in pairs That's as organised as I get. My house looks very tidy until you open a cupboard, or a drawer or a wardrobe, and then it's chaos

Weirdly, I'm the other way around
Our house is never, ever entirely tidy, yet my inner OCD comes out when you open a cupboard/drawer - especially the airing cupboard

I like to wear trainer socks inside welly-boot socks for padding round the house. They keep my tootsies warmer than slippers.

For day wear I always buy multi packs of black socks, always George, always 9-12, but no matter what I do they always wash to different sizes: some big, some little, some in the middle. Now what is all that about?

And since last summer they now all do their own ironing.

Being away for nearly 3 weeks made them realise the laundry fairy didn't actually exist.

Their future wives will thank me.
