I spent my whole journey home worrying that I was going to fall to sleep and end up in Sheffield.

I will stay where everyone else is staying!

We'd best make sure the hotel bar is fully stocked with vodka Debih. ;) ;)

Ooh, if I get another smooch with the lovely Liz via the lovely Ally I don't care where it is or when..... though it would be super if Liz was there in person. :D :D :D

The Old Joint Stocks - Premier Inn - Briar Rose combo worked really well. Everything was within an easy stroll of each other.

The only change I would make is a personal one, and that would be to arrive the day before. The journey down from Leeds on the day meant for a very early start, too early tbh.

Good idea Frank.

Looks like a block booking might be necessary for the Premier Inn!

I asked about that last year and I am sure it turned out that booking online worked out the least expensive.

I am getting so tempted.

As I get older and more doddery though I get a bit nervous about venturing into new territory. I will have to have big thinks.

You really cannot beat that Premier Inn for location and as I only paid £70 for the 2 nights last year I was really impressed.

The close proximity between bar and hotel played a major part in the booking choice.
