Limping dawg

Postby Lozzles » 16 Jan 2014, 10:21

Jasper woke up this morning with a limp :? He was fine when he went to bed, but now he can't put any weight on his front left paw. He looks very unhappy, so I have called the vet and will take him down in half an hour :(

They do seem to damage their paws/legs fairly easily Loz, hopefully it's nothing serious but best checked out (((Jasper))) x

Poor Jasper. Are you able to touch his paw at all Loz, can you feel if the paw pad is warmer than the others?

Hopefully the vet can figure out what it is

Well the vet has found a sore spot on his 2nd toe, but she is also suggested an x-ray because he wasn't putting any weight on it. I have left him there and will pick him up once he has come round from the sedation.
