do people not look in a mirror?

Postby meriad » 15 Jan 2014, 08:53

Working in London you see all sorts of things and oddest combinations of outfits - and that's one of the many things I just love about working here, but sometimes....

this mornings corker was someone walking ahead of me wearing thick pink tights, a grass green skirt and brown suede boots and all that topped with a black short coat. And to make it just that bit worse, it was a middle aged and sligthly larger lady wearing this outfit; so the skirt was just that bit shorter in the back than in the front and she waddled more than walked

What I loved about commuting in London, when I did it many many years ago, was the fact that no matter what you wore or did nobody paid a blind bit of notice - or at least if they did it wasn't apparent! I once sat on the tube next to someone in a gorilla suit and nobody stared, or did a double take - it was all in a day's commute 8-) :D

there are some "sights" here especially with the "larger" size ladies-but the attitude is -if you don't like or approve --don't look

I thought at first this was another question about driving in traffic!

I have become used to seeing people in all sorts of weird clothing.

It's just par for the course around here.

People of both sexes don't seem to bother how they look nowadays. That's why there is so much obesity.

My fashion designer daughter would say that lady was expressing her individuality :D

Why follow the sheep? ;)
