We got to Urgencia at 9.50, as Dr GF asked me to get there for 10.00. I almost had to push a lady out of the way, as she wanted to go before me
The receptionist very kindly took me to the consulting rooms, rather than just tell me where I had to go 
I then explained to the lady doctor what Dr GF said. She told me to go to the waiting room and wait. So I did - for about an hour and a half There were a couple of people there with crutches and we all had a bit of a giggle, when the cleaners came in, mopped the floor
and then said, as one of the crutches men said, I'll slip - well, you're in the right place 
Dr GF came in and told me to follow him, so off we went - to gastro
Sit and wait, he said, I need to speak to Dr Paulo. So I sat and waited - for about another half hour or so. (I don't wear a watch, so have no idea how long 
) Dr P said that he couldn't do the endoscopy that morning, he was too busy, so please make an appointment for Wednesday He gave me the correct form, duly completed and I then had to wait about another 45 minutes to actually make the appointment Grumpy was still sat in urgencia
When I got there, looked at the time - 12.40
So back we go on Wednesday. There will, no doubt, be an hour or so wait, as the girls really had to struggle to fit me in - it normally takes a couple of months to get an appointment for anything procedural - so Grumpy (looking on the bright side
) said that they're obviously fast-tracking me.I have to have the endoscopy done, so the surgeon and the consultant can have a look-see and determine if there is enough to re-attach to - and to make sure it's healthy. If not, it's Glad bags for life.
Ho hum...............
then I'll be waiting for at least an hour - I was pushed in as the last one that morning. Then he'll have a look-see - and hopefully, I'll be able to see on the tele too 
Then it'll be, go and made an appointment with Dr GF, so he can see the results
